Armistead has had an interest in firearms his entire life and actively works with his knowledge and skills to be a credit to the firearm industry. This allows him to confidently help customers to find, fix, or create the firearms they desire. Armistead studied gunsmithing under Lieutenant Colonel Jim Rice USMC Retired. Along with his gunsmithing, Armistead is a master timber framer 28 years and counting.
